Hatha Yoga is a foundational, slower-paced style of yoga that centres on physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. It is a more static form of yoga, where the student is constantly learning: training an awareness of how the breath informs each pose, how core stability and alignment lighten each pose and how breathing can quiet the mind and nurture intuitive self-awareness.
We encourage all new students to begin with hatha yoga, in order to learn these essential tools and develop a safe, sustainable practice.

This is a dynamic style of yoga where poses are linked together to
form fluid sequences underpinned by the rhythm of the breath.
Vinyasa Flow classes can be fast-paced, providing a well-rounded aerobic workout, or slow- paced, in which case the emphasis is on moving safely and smoothly from one posture to another and on holding poses for longer periods to build strength, concentration, and stamina.
When your body has learnt to move with the breath
and understands the limit of each pose, this can be a wonderfully nourishing practice.

This style draws on the principles of classical hatha yoga but there is less emphasis on static alignment instruction and more on internal observation. Yoga poses are linked in a slow and meditative flow that highlights the relationship between movement and breath.
The teacher encourages the student to go within; to sense and feel each posture, tapping in the more subtle elements of the practice: and to balance effort and ease to find a sense of stability and greater spaciousness.

Is a type of yoga known for its calming and healing effects. These classes are a mix of gentle breathing, guided meditation, and supported, passive postures, done while lying down on the floor.
Props – like bolsters and blankets – are used in order to allow the body to be in the most comfortable, supported position possible and minimise physical effort. This gentle nourishing style is ideal for releasing stress, calming the nervous system, and for anyone feeling fatigued or recovering from an injury.

Uses passive stretches and longer holds to access and stretch the deep fascia, joints, and ligaments while dropping muscular effort. On the physiological level, Yin works by gently stressing the tissues so they can hydrate, thereby retaining their health and elasticity.
On the mental level, the focus on floor-based poses and long holds encourage students to refine their awareness of physical sensations and to meet challenges with a receptive, compassionate attitude. Yin is a deeply meditative practice and a fantastic complement to other forms of exercise.

Pilates is an exercise method originally developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. It is designed to target and strengthen often neglected muscle groups, as well as the tendons and ligaments that protect the joints, and to enhance core stability.
Pilates inspired classes focus on movement quality, precise technique, and breath awareness to improve mobility, functional strength, and overall posture.
Exercises can be tailored to all ages and fitness levels.

The space feels calm the moment you walk in, and the teachers are warm, encouraging, and really present. Always leave feeling lighter and more grounded.
The teachers create such a supportive environment, and it’s honestly become one of my favourite parts of the week.
Really professional. Well done.

Little Bird…the energy in the room is lovely, and the teachers are great at making everyone feel comfortable, whether it’s your first class or you’ve been practicing for years. No regrets.
A genuinely nice space to slow down for a bit and get out of your head. Lovely people, a friendly, non-judgmental atmosphere, and a great spot in Dublin 8.
