A little history

Fascia — the intricate web of connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, bone and organ in your body — was largely overlooked by science until researchers began studying it seriously in the early 2000s.

It was then that movement therapists and bodyworkers started developing gentle, targeted practices designed specifically to hydrate, release and restore this remarkable tissue.

Fascia Hydration & Stress Relief brings together the very best of that research, blending slow mindful movement, breathwork and gentle somatic techniques into one deeply nourishing practice.

Fascia hydration and stress relief with experienced teachers

If you wake up feeling stiff, move through your day feeling restricted, or carry a kind of dull, all-over tension that you just can’t seem to shake, this practice was made with you in mind. Fascia becomes dehydrated and stiff through stress, repetitive movement, long hours of sitting and the general wear of everyday life — and this class is specifically designed to reverse that.

It is slow, gentle and profoundly effective, working with the body rather than pushing against it.

  • The slow, intentional movements encourage fresh fluid to move through the fascial network, restoring suppleness and ease to the whole body from head to toe
  • Because this practice works directly with the stress held in connective tissue, many people leave class feeling a noticeable and immediate sense of full-body relief
