SLOW VINYASA FLOW Db (1)

Ancient wisdom for modern living.

Vinyasa Yoga (विन्यास योग) grew out of an ancient Indian practice called Ashtanga, which was developed in the early 1900s by a teacher named Sri T. Krishnamacharya. His student, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, helped shape it into the flowing, movement-based style we know and love today.

The word Vinyasa comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “to place in a special way” — and that is exactly what this practice does, placing each movement together with each breath in a beautiful sequence.

Over the years, Vinyasa has grown into one of the most popular styles of yoga practised all around the world.

Vinyasa Yoga with experienced teachers

If you love the idea of moving your body in a way that feels almost like a dance, then Vinyasa Yoga in Dublin could be a wonderful fit for you.

There are no two classes exactly alike — every session flows differently, which keeps things fresh, fun and exciting. It suits people who enjoy a little energy and rhythm in their movement, while still finding a deep sense of calm by the end.

  • The focus on matching breath to movement gives your thoughts somewhere to settle, making it a brilliant stress-reliever.
  • Flowing through poses consistently works your whole body, toning muscles you didn’t even know you had.
  • The continuous, connected movement gives you a gentle cardiovascular workout that leaves you feeling alive and energised.
